I'm reading a book in my opinion (mind you, very ignorant) interesting albeit a bit 'dated, pardon me I got a bit ' later.
The book in question is Aggression by Konrad Lorenz. For those who do not know who was the aforementioned character here is a biography (in English).
In short, the book, published in 1966, intra-specific discussion on aggression in animals and in humans, caused by what is and what causes, trying to investigate whether the 'aggressiveness is necessarily a bad thing, or at least when it becomes negative.
Outstanding, as usual for the author, the behavioral relations on cichlids and also there is a small gem on Barbus partipentazona .
Cichlids I've never had, as my aquarium is still immature, but not deny that describes noted that Lorenz is certainly interesting.
Obviously the author is not only the social nature of the fish but also in other animal species, with particular attention to the structures of birds and mammals.
The edition I have is published by Basic Books, paperback in the series, I say this because there is an interesting preface by Giorgio Celli.
conclusion, if you're interested in ethology and behavior do not let him escape if you've already read so tell me what you think we'll discuss it together.
